Life experiences and academic pursuit balanced one with the other, The Bourget International Group seeks to contract independent consultants who demonstrate high academic achievements, although the nature of the firm and its practices make other qualities in a candidate just as important.
We are most interested in the totality of the contribution a candidate can make to the firm. Diversity of background and experience, along with substantial academic preparation are important considerations in our evaluation process.
Integrity, honesty, intellectual curiosity, emotional maturity, stamina, and loyalty are qualities we find highly desirable. We think these attributes are acquired as much from life experience as from academic pursuit and are necessarily balanced one with the other.
The Bourget International Group has always stressed individual associate responsibility and it is the firm's policy to confer upon associates direct responsibility for work assignments and contact with clients as rapidly as their professional development permits. Success at The Bourget International Group, therefore, requires the maturity to operate in a less formal environment and the initiative and imagination to deal with novel international business development issues.
Foreign language ability and international business development experience are absolute prerequisites for association. Partners are elected on a merit basis.
