SIGNIFICANCE OF OUR NAME
FIRST TIME - RECORD TIME - HIGH IMPACT
AN INTERNATIONAL GROUP CALLED BOURGET

Early in the morning on May 20, 1927 Charles A. Lindbergh took off in The Spirit of St. Louis from Roosevelt Field near New York City. Flying northeast along the coast, he was sighted later in the day flying over Nova Scotia and Newfoundland. From St. Johns, Newfoundland, he headed out over the Atlantic, using only a magnetic compass, his airspeed indicator, and luck to navigate toward Europe. As he approached Paris, Lindbergh took the Spirit of St. Louis up to about 4,000 feet. He'd found the city, and now he needed a little perspective to be able to find Le Bourget. In the darkness of the grassy airfield, beyond the reach of the lights that partially illuminated the area, a frenzied crowd of more than 150,000 people gathered at Le Bourget Field.

The American landed at Bourget on Sunday, May 21, 1927. 3,610 miles and 33 1/2 hours after leaving New York, Lindbergh became the first person to fly solo across the Atlantic Ocean. The Bourget International Group, established in 1990, takes it's name from the place where a talented trans-atlantic pilot landed safely in Europe, for the first time, in record time. The impact of that landing remains legendary.

TRANSLATING PROPOSITION INTO REVENUE

Original Founder, Tom McSorley foresaw an opportunity which the large mulit-national companies of the world now embrace: creating a target-market based, full-service, multi-lingual, multi-cultural, best practices organization developing global business in major commercial markets worldwide.

TURNKEY INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT SOLUTION

Bourget's Managing Partners believe that an experienced approach to international expansion is vital to success, but that not every company will easily have access to (nor time and money to develop) the appropriate high-level international expansion resources. To realize this service, based on creating access to seasoned international sales veterans dedicated to maximizing the revenue acquisition potential; to optimize profitability, revenue and customer satisfaction for its clients. Bourget develops and implements collaborative partnership processes and technologies that support interactions throughout all channels to provide mid-sized technology companies with a turnkey international business development solution.

Beginning with a solid channel management practice and a few creative international business development models, Mr. McSorley positioned the organization to capitalize on the business needs of small to mid-sized technology enterprises expanding their business into European markets. Bourget's success results from its focus on providing clients with superior value and developing creative solutions to complex expansion opportunities. This philosophy is embedded in Bourget's emphasis on competing through intellectual rather than financial capital and a tradition of privacy and independence.

PARTNERS ACROSS THE OCEANS

The Office of the Managing Partners was headquartered first in Maastricht, The Netherlands, and Brussels, Belgium and now in Zug, Switzerland. Bourget's highly qualified multi-lingual associates remain intimately familiar regional and local marketing and cultural landscapes. Although founded by an American, The Bourget International Group is not an American organization, but is rather one with an integrated and international culture, managed by a mix of American, European, Middle Eastern, Asian, and South American partners.

During Bourget International Group's first three years, the firm grew rapidly with one Fortune 500 client and several mid-sized clients. Expansion continued in late 90s. After over 18+ years of sustained, organic growth, our "Go-to-Market" strategy and structure prides itself on its global reach, while at the same time maintaining a distinct regional and local market presence.

PARTNERS IN EDUCATION AND TRAINING

In 2004, Bourget opened the Office of Education and Training, offering and wide and diverse range of learning programs and associated services to corporate clients, governmental organizations, individuals or groups both in the European Union and internationally.
