As a Business and Legal English trainer, Dan Flynn brings a background of over 30 years of human resource management and training experience and a Juris Doctor degree from Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, D.C. (U.S.A.) to his work teaching English to adults who speak other languages.

He has taught in the U.S.A. and Europe. He lives in Verviers, Belgium and teaches private clients on work sites in the Province of Liège and for organizations such as Accent Languages, Action Langues Verviers and SKLZ (Sprach- und KulturLernZentrum) in Eupen. He taught previously at Ceran in Spa, Belgium, the Arlington County (Virginia) Education and Employment Program, Diplomatic Language Services, International Language Academy, Eurocentres Alexandria, International Center for Language Studies in Washington, D.C., The Linguaviva Centre in Dublin, Ireland, Northern Virginia Community College and Zaporozh'ye State University in Zaporozh'ye, Ukraine.

He earned a Cambridge/Royal Society of Arts Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults as a second language. He speaks French and has trained in other languages such as German, Italian, Spanish and Irish. Dan serves as Advisor on all matters related to Legal English Language Studies and translations.

Mr. Flynn presented many professional seminars in human resource management for the American Compensation Association, the American Management Association, the Society for Human Resource Management, George Washington University and American University in Washington, D.C. (U.S.A.) He was a conference speaker in the U.S.A. and Canada on such subjects as "Performance Measurement Criteria for Group Variable Rewards". He was also a contributor and member of the editorial review board for the "Compensation Guide" published by Warren, Gorham & Lamont, Boston, Massachusetts.

Mr. Flynn was Chair of the English for Occupational Purposes group of Washington D.C. Area Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages) and a member of the executive committee of the National Capitol Area Chapter of People to People International. His last corporate executive role was Vice President, Personnel Services in the U.S.A. and Canada for Lafarge Corporation, a U.S. company owned by Lafarge S.A., a worldwide manufacturing company headquartered in Paris, France. Before Lafarge, he had served with organizations such as MCI Communications Corp., the American Bankers Association, and COMSAT, the U.S. signatory to the International Telecommunications Satellite Consortium (INTELSAT). His wife Kathleen A. McNally, Ph.D., a former university professor and senior management consultant with Watson Wyatt Worldwide, teaches English to adults who speak other languages. Born in Atlanta, Georgia, she is also a citizen of the Republic of Ireland.

Born in San Francisco, California, Mr. Flynn is also a citizen of the Republic of Ireland and holds American and Irish (European Union) passports. He has recently become a ‘senior’ model in Europe and has appeared in advertising in several countries and a movie film. Dan is based at the Office of Education and Training in Brussels, Belgium.
